This week's prayer focus:

"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem."  Psalm 122:6
 
Urgent call to Pray for Israel.    9 1 1 Prayer initiative (Anne Graham Lotz).
Pray in the 9th month...on the 1st day (Sept. 1)... Fast for 1 hour of your choosing.
Pray: for God to pour out His Spirit of grace on Jerusalem, For God to open their eyes to recognize their Messiah, For God to break her heart for hers in rejection of Him, For God to save her spiritually and physically as she cries out to Him.
 
Prayers for persecuted Christians.
 
Prayers for Beckie Moon, Mary Day's sister, hip replacement surgery Monday.
 
Pray for Students returning to school...God's protection, good relationships, ability to focus on their studies, motivation to learn.
 
Pray for the youth program at New Life Church--God's leaders to step up, youth to be drawn to The Lord.

Pray for the Christian education program beginning Sept. 7th.

Jean will bring the cleaning supplies, but we are in need of a carpet shampooer with an upholstery attachment.
There are 30 chairs that need to be cleaned, so all help is welcome and appreciated!

If chair-cleaning isn't your strength, there are also 5 small bookcases that need to be assembled for the Sunday School rooms.
