Previous messages during January worship have focused on different aspects of membership. These messages have been audio recorded (see website to listen) and have also been video recorded if you wish to view the message after worship in the lower level Youth Room. Handouts from each week are available online or in the lobby. NEXT STEPS – Members of the leadership team will be contacting those interested in membership (communicate this by turning in your membership packet – the information handed out weeks 1 & 3 - to the church office or by signing up in the lobby – specific dates are listed. POLAR PLUNGE SNOW TUBING - All youth & interested others are invited to attend a polar plunge snow tubing event at Hidden Valley Resort in Eureka, Sunday (2/1). The group rate is $22/person- it covers 3 hours of snow tubing. If you have interest in offsetting the cost of your ticket you can participate in our sub sandwich fundraiser. The more sub sandwiches you sell the more you save. If interested, signup in the front lobby or see Sarah Sullentrup or Jennifer Kazmaier for a sub sandwich sale sheet. SUB-SANDWICH SALE – See a youth who is selling sub sandwiches to offset the cost of their upcoming polar plunge outing. Sandwiches will be sold by youth through THIS coming Sunday (1/25). All 6” subs will include bread, ham, turkey, roast beef, cheese, lettuce & tomato or any combination thereof for $6 each. Sub sandwiches will be made NEXT Saturday, January 31st and distributed after church the following day (which is also Super Bowl Sunday) unless you plan for a different delivery method. Please contact one of our youth to purchase a sub or two. Thank you!

MEMBERSHIP SERIES HAS BEGUN
This past Sunday (and continuing through January 25) we began our membership series called, “Getting On Board”. You can listen the kickoff sermon (and download referenced handouts) at www.newlifechurchmo.org/sermons.html, or view the DVD of the message on Sunday after worship in one of the classrooms. REMINDERS! Pies Needed! The KC in Washington is hosting a Fish Fry Fundraiser on Friday evening, January 23rd from 4-7pm. Proceeds will benefit the Emmaus Homes. Emmaus needs to furnish the dessert and is looking for donations of pies (other desserts would work too). If you plan to donate pie, please email ([email protected]) or call Dennis (636-299-1983) Pies can be dropped off at the KC Hall after 1pm on Friday, Jan. 23rd, or call Dennis Kramme (636-299-1983) if you need someone to pick them up from you. ELDERS TEAM TRAINING Begins tonight. As was announced on Sunday, Elders training begins tonight at 7pm in the Upper Room of the sanctuary (the room behind the sound-projection table in the back of the sanctuary). If you are interested in learning more about what it means to serve the Lord and His Church via the Elder’s Team, bring your Bible and join with others tonight at 7pm. This week we will begin looking at Titus 1 and 1 Timothy 3. Wednesday Evening Bible Study A new Bible study group is being formed. The group will dig deeper into the previous Sunday's sermon scripture. Bible study begins next week - January 21st at 7 p.m. at the church. Worship Ensemble A worship ensemble group is being formed by Denny & Vickie Price. First rehearsal will be Thursday, January 29 at 6:30 p.m. All ages and skill levels are welcome!
